The Gallup report says this is the first time since 1964 where the GOP front-runner spot has seen so many changes. Gallup counts four front-runners and seven lead changes since polling began in May with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, businessman Herman Cain, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Gov. Rick Perry all holding front-runner status at different stages in the contest. This race could get more volatile yet if a candidate fails to win enough votes to secure the nomination. Another candidate could jump into the race or it could end up in a brokered convention, where candidates use their delegates to select the candidate for the GOP. This madness looks terrible for the GOP, but ultimately this messy process is worse news for Obama, since voters will definitely want change. Some are already pushing Obama to drop Biden and add Hillary to lift his chances.
